Terms and Conditions
Bright Adventures

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Bright Adventures (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the parent(s)/carer(s) (“you”, “your”) for the provision of childcare services.
By registering your child with us, you agree to abide by these terms.

3. Our Services
We provide wraparound childcare / breakfast club / after-school club / holiday club for children aged 4-16
Our service operates during:
- Term time: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–8:45am and 3:15pm–6:00pm *subject to change
- Holiday periods: Monday-Friday 8-5 *subject to change

4. Registration and Bookings
- A completed registration form must be completed on Class for Kids before a child can attend.
- Bookings can be made via Class for Kids and are confirmed once payment or deposit is received.
- Places are subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Parents must update us promptly if any contact, medical, or emergency information changes.
5. Fees and Payment
- Current fees are listed on the website and depends what activity you are booking
- Fees must be paid in advance via class for kids or cash.
- Late payments may incur a fee of ÂŁ20 per day
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a place if fees remain unpaid.
- Fees are still payable for booked sessions your child does not attend (e.g. sickness, holidays, or school closures beyond our control).
6. Late Collection Policy
- Children must be collected promptly at the end of their booked session.
- A late collection fee of ÂŁ5 per 5 minutes will apply.
- Repeated late collection may result in termination of your child’s place.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- By Parents: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Refunds or credits will not normally be issued for missed sessions.
- By Us: We may cancel sessions due to emergencies, extreme weather, or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will offer an alternative session or refund.
8. Medical and Health Information
- Parents must provide full and accurate medical details and update us of any changes.
- We can only administer medication that is prescribed, clearly labelled, and accompanied by a completed consent form.
- In an emergency, we may act in the child’s best interest to obtain medical treatment, contacting parents as soon as possible.
9. Behaviour and Conduct
We promote positive behaviour and respect among all children and staff.
- Bullying, aggression, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a child’s place if behaviour is consistently unacceptable despite our support.
- Parents are expected to support our behaviour management policy.
10. Safeguarding and Child Protection
We are committed to safeguarding children’s welfare and comply with all relevant legislation and local safeguarding procedures.
If we have concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, we are legally required to follow safeguarding protocols, which may include contacting external agencies.

11. Personal Belongings
We cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of personal items brought to the setting (e.g. toys, clothes, electronics).
Children should not bring valuable items unless agreed in advance.
12. Food and Allergies
We provide meals/snacks/drinks in accordance with healthy eating guidelines.
Parents must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements on the registration form.
We are a nut-free environment and ask all families to respect this policy.
13. Data Protection
We handle all personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

14. Changes to Terms and Fees
We may review and update these Terms and Conditions or our fees periodically.
You will be given at least 4 weeks’ notice of any significant changes.
15. Liability
While every reasonable effort is made to keep children safe, we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from activities beyond our reasonable control.
16. Termination of Contract
Either party may terminate the childcare arrangement by giving 4 weeks’ written notice.
Immediate termination may occur if:
- Fees remain unpaid after repeated reminders
- A child’s behaviour endangers others
- A parent or carer behaves abusively towards staff or children
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
By signing the registration form or confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
